The Silicon Valley Open Studios event has created a website with all participants’ work! Here is a link to the Palo Alto Studios participants! Look at all the painters! I discovered a few weeks ago that the studio directly below me has a full ceramics set up with a massive kiln. It was a cold…dark… night where usually I would be layering up a little in order to work... but I noticed I felt really comfortable which was confusing because the building does not have central air. This is how I discovered the huge kiln heating my studio! What a happy surprise... I'm sure it'll be awful in the summertime! Yeehaw!

In the last year I have graduated, gotten married, and moved to California with my husband. Zachary is a PhD candidate at Stanford. I work as an executive assistant at an investment firm in Palo Alto where I make enough money for us both to live. Someday I would like to work on my art profession full time.
